Alliance SICAV was set up as an exit strategy by fraudster Stefan Gustafsson, as the Columna Commodities fraud collapsed and was discovered. Using the Luxembourg Fund Partners fraud model, this family of funds only really raised assets for Omnibus Property fund, investing in Sweden and Spain, where Gustafsson was connected.
Gustafsson teamed up with fellow Swede fraudster Nexhip Bicaku (aka Filip Gil), based in Malaga, and together they fleeced investors of their money. The last accounts produced were for 2017, showing euro 4.5 million of investors' monies, but this all vanished withing a short time-frame.
In early 2018 the frauster JJ Noomen made his move - the fund changed its name to Icon Bridge & Property Fundm and at a December EGM his wife Anne Ceulemans, and fraud colleagues Marin Berchtohold and Ernest Ouwerkerk became new directors. The domiciliation agent EFA resigned as the scale of the fraud became apparemt a few months later, yet Alliance remained in existence without a home for 2 more years before being dissolved.
All investors lost their money.. Yet Filip Gil remains in Malaga raising money for new ventures, and Stefan Gustafsson fled to Dubai after being arrested and cherged with fraud in Luxembourg.
